Psychology Behind being lazy

Psychology Behind Being Lazy

Laziness is a learned behavior people practiced. Once people have been lazy for a day, it is much easier to be lazy for another day and another day. People can do two things to combat laziness and they both require action. Action cures all lazy people and procrastinators.

First thing that people can do is “go fight”. By fight, I don’t mean getting into an actual physical confrontation with someone but I mean go create something good in your life. Being productive by choose to do something now that will benefit you now is “fighting”.

The second thing that people can do is “take flight”. By taking flight, people should do things that will benefit them in the long term. We are where we are in life because of where we were. If we want to be somewhere else in the future, the work we do now is very important.

So those are the two options. One benefits you in the short term and the other benefit you in the long term. We need both to kill laziness. Being lazy is not healthy at all. Human are active animals and are meant to be doing stuff. For example, when we are a baby, we are unstoppable. Babies want to do everything and anything. They are active. Babies tend to seem out of control for most people they haven’t been conditioned to be “lazy” or “civil”. People are naturally wild and we should put ourselves to work.

In conclusion, that is what life about. Life is work. Those who don’t work will often tell you that life is short. Life is very long if you are busy progressing through life. However, being busy doesn’t mean progress but it is a start. Life should be fun but we must prioritize our “fun time” and constantly be focused on our work time. Working is the enemy of laziness and procrastination, so get to work.
